Friday has rolled around again,which means it is time for Friday Cocktails! This week has been more than a bit busy. As, I told y’all recently I have begun working with a new author and I could not be more thrilled. She’s a firecracker of a writer, bursting with creative energy and a sense of humor that keeps me laughing even on the toughest days.
There have been so many wonderful days. I have been staying busy and working on some things for the blogs for the holidays. I also have a giveaway coming to introduce you to the new author and a few other surprises. I hope that y’all will enjoy them.
This Week’s Cocktail
The drink that was featured this week is a Gin and Tonic basically. I change mine up sometimes. The basic recipe is 2 ounces of gin to 4 ounces of tonic (soda water) over ice. Normally you add in some lime slices and there you go. For those who aren’t crazy about lime try it with some orange slices and a cherry. It takes a classic and gives it a little flair.

I’m so happy you had a good week! Still stressed about getting ready for my niece’s wedding, but I guess some of the shopping trips have been fun…
I had a pretty good week. The weather is still warm and sunny.
Had a few appointments this week. I did a lot of yard work in the mornings before it got too hot out. Lots of cooking too.
Besides some aches and pains my week wasn’t too bad.

I had a bad week. I found out my son is being discharged from the military. We are scrambling to find him a job now.
My week was ok. Had to put some furniture together. Starting to get cold here so cleaned up a bit of my garden.
It has been a crazy week. My bank account had some fraud so I had to close it and open a new one. It has been a lot straightening it all out.
Oh that is nuts… just like Tina F, I had some bank fraud I had to deal with this week! Just how much fraud is going on out there?
Some thing that have weighed on me for months finally started to be resolved
I did not feel the best this week and I’m hoping next week is better.
It was an OKAY week, some good mixed in with the bad – I wasn’t feeling 100%
I visited my son and enjoyed some cooler weather this week!
It’s been quiet. That’s the best week for me.
I had a good week enjoying the sunshine and the warm weather.
I went back home to CT for a week for work and packing up my home. It was wonderful to have some “fall” weather!
The week went buy fast. I had to cover for a co worker. It was and adventure for sure.
My left knee has been killing me all week, I know that I need to go to the doctor and get it checked out but I keep putting it off, hoping that resting it and my heating pad will resolve the issue. It hasn’t

The weather is slowly feeling more like fall so my week is great.
The weather cannot be any better which puts me in a good mood! Work has been steady but not too busy this week.
My week was a little boring just relaxing and cleaning after our trip out of town.
