It’s Friday again and time for Friday Cocktails! This is the last one of September and I am so thrilled that fall is finally here! I mean we have finally gotten some cooler weather. Of course I live in the south so there is no telling how long that will last. Tomorrow it could be back in the nineties.
Fall is the perfect time of year in my opinion. It is when the weather gets cooler but not so cold that you need to bundle up tightly. It’s the time to drink hot chocolate while enjoying the sunrise, wrap up and go visit the pumpkin patch, along with so many other things.
Fall Bucket List
I have a small list of things that I want to do this fall. The biggest one is head out and pick some apples at the orchard. It is a bit of a drive but so worth it. We did a few years ago and I loved every second of it. Another thing I want to do is head to the pumpkin farm and pick one out for this year. This is something we do every year and I love the tradition of it. Not to mention Callaway Gardens is currently has pumpkins that glow at night. It is new this year and something Ma wants to do as much as me. Finally, I want to check out a corn maze. I have never done one of those but this year is the year I do it. Don’t ask me why I want to do this but I do.
News & Updates
I am finally, sort of caught up, from being in the hospital. I have also been doing some other work (you may have noticed over at Wickedly Romance) which is almost complete. That means I will be heading over here and taking care of those same sort of things here. I know it will take me a few months to get it all completed but I could not be more thrilled that most of it is done.
I have also be working on holiday posts for y’all and some giveaways to close out the year with a bang. Getting the behind the scenes stuff dealt with will FINALLY help me feel a bit more accomplished. Those little things won’t be driving up a wall knowing they are done. Not to mention getting the posts done that I have planned for next few months helps me feel accomplished. I know that y’all are going to be so excited about some of the things to come.

I don’t really have anything on a fall bucket list. I guess just cleaning up the gardens and putting the garlic in for next year.

I have always wanted to take a leisurely road trip up the east coast of the US during the Fall. I’d love to view the changing Fall foliage and sample all of the autumn delicacies on my way, apple and pumpkin everything. Yummy!
