Friday Conversations – April 12, 2024

Friday Conversation April 5 2024

Last Friday I thought things were going to go so much better. I was going to have so much done and get on track. Life said no you’re not! I did manage to get a few things done but I feel like there is more left undone on my list. Although I do feel as though I put way more on my list to get done in a day then I really need to. Like I somehow set myself up to fail.

Ma is doing a little better but she still can’t use her arm. I have to dress her, bathe her, cut up her food, basically everything you do for children. She did pop a stitch this week which meant we had to go back and get it looked at. They thought it would be alright/ We shall see. Next week she gets all the stitches out and then we will go from there.

This made me smile this week.

I love this greenhouse. I would love to have one although I did see one that had some raised beds inside of it. If I ever build my dream home I am certainly having one of these little buildings.

Just a girl and her bread! I feel the same and if I could do this and it look this cute rather than the fat chick who is stuffing her face I would do it.

She makes these custom wreaths and this one calls to my soul. I’m not sure what she charges but I feel like I need one of these in my life.

It’s been stressful and tiring, but the Frozen Four tournament has been fun to watch.

I almost always have a “to do” list that I never manage to complete. Good point that maybe I’m setting myself up to fail.
Sad week – an old friend passed away unexpectedly and a dear friend lost his mom.

I LOVE that greenhouse. I have about 50 plants., that I have to drag inside in the winter. If I had this darling, adorable greenhouse, they’d get tons of sun and I’d put a small heater in there. Kind of reminds me of the one in the movie, “The Hand That Rocks The Cradle”.
