If you have been with me for a while then you know that this used to be Friday Cocktails but this year I thought I would change the name to Friday Conversations. It is all pretty much the same although I have broadened these weekly posts just a bit. I felt that it was time to make a change there.
I had intended to do these in January but the flu really took me out and I was forced to wait until now to get them restarted and ready to go. Let me tell y’all that flu was the worst. I had such a hard time getting over it. It lingered for weeks. I was nervous I wasn’t going to be able to go on my trip it was so bad. However, things cleared up and while I still have a little lingering congestion, that is all.
This made me laugh or smile this week.
Like most of you I spend plenty of time scrolling around Instagram and this week these are a few things that made me laugh or smile. I am feeling a bit the same about this one! I was ready to get into this but then I discovered it’s how I dress all the time!
These guys are Scottish but they sound as southern as I do when they sing. They are awesome!

I had a pretty laid back week. Got my haircut and spent time with my mom and my sister.
I felt a little depressed this week but I don’t really know why. This time of year is always dreary to me.
My week was super busy. i had a doctors appointment and also been birthday shopping for a loved one. I am taking a serious break today.
This week was very busy but good.
Only 1 vet visit for Queenie this week. Other than that, it’s been kind of quiet.
I had a good week. My daughter came to visit and we had a great time catching up!
Just started Invisalign. My mouth hurts!
They say Scots and Southern dialects have some roots in common…
This week I just tried to avoid storms!
It’s probably why we can understand them so well.
Just prepared for the birthday party we had for my Dad this weekend.
It was pretty average didn’t do anything for note but my husbands birthday was the 8th we didn’t really do anything but order out some good food.
