It’s Friday again and I have no idea what the deal is today but I have been behind from the moment I woke up this morning. It is like I have had a million things to do and I am getting them done but not quickly enough. Maybe there have been too many distractions today. I know what it is but this should have been finished up early this morning and it is just now getting done.
There hasn’t been too much going on because frankly there has been more than enough in the last few weeks. I have enjoyed just taking it a bit easier and just doing simple things. My new normal is a little different because of my knee but it is not too bad.
This made me smile this week.
I just love this guy. He always makes me laugh. Today this is the slice of cake that I need.
This is one of my favorite calming sort of ASMR type things. I don’t know why I like this so much but I do.
He said not today! He is not having it and I found it so cute and funny for some reason.

I’ve been procrastinating this week. I’ve been meaning to do spring decluttering and it hasn’t happened yet. Hopefully next week I’ll get to it.
I had a super busy week but a nice one. I went to the Farmer’s Market and met with and old family friend and we talked for hours it really made my week.
A few days ago I was told I need surgery. Yesterday they called to set a follow up with doc for next week to discuss and schedule. 30 minutes later they called back and have surgery cancellation next week, so they booked me! So 10 days from “you’ll need surgery” to having surgery! My head is spinning
I had a lot of doctor appointments and was on some post-birthday/friends visit sadness. I also started journaling which makes me happy.
I had a busy week.
It was an up and down week, hoping for a quiet weekend!
I have been without my car all week. So it hasn’t been great.
I de-cluttered a bit and clean the house from top to bottom. Other than that an uneventful week.

I have been working so much this past week because I am taking some time off next week.
We spent father’s day with my brother and his family, it was great to see them again. The week was just the same as always.
I’ve not done much besides read, take care of m kids, and clean. Hope your week was good.
