It is Friday again and I am running on three hours of sleep today. I would love to have some reason why but the truth is I couldn’t sleep last night and then was woken up this morning. So there you have it. The good news is I am not running around like a chicken with her head cut off.
This week has been a bit of mix for me. It has been good in that I felt I am finally getting somewhere with my bible study. I am, as of this morning, 82 days in and couldn’t be happier with myself. I am understanding things so much better than I ever have.
Things are also going well with my health. I am learning my new normal now with my knee issues and have hopes for the future where I can get back to doing all the things I haven’t been able to in a long time. It is something that only time will tell. However, a week or so ago I was not convinced that there was a good outcome.
This made me smile this week.
I feel this way this summer. I just don’t think I can go to someone’s house who keeps their AC on like 80 degrees. That ain’t normal in this heat.
This is kind of mean at first because his mother (or whoever the woman is filming just keeps recording) however we have all been there. Tell them not to do something thirty times only to watch them do it anyway. It’s the little girl afterwards that had me cracking up.
Okay, I know there are some readers who are religious and this isn’t really a religious thing. However, these are some actors from The Chosen TV series and I will tell you the marketing strategy just had me laughing so hard. I know it was probably all set up but could imagine not knowing they were doing this and these DVDs kept popping into your buggy?
This hit me hard this week
I saw a clip of this little film on Instagram and in touched my heart. So I went it search of it. Let me tell you now that this will break your heart completely. It left me crying for a good hour afterwards but there is something so special about it as well. I just wanted to share it with y’all but please know that you will most likely cry.
If you watched it did you cry? I know, what a thing to do to y’all on a Friday but while it was very sad there is something hopeful and uplifting in it as well. Did you watch it until he end? I love how she affected his life but he affected hers as well. It is also based on a true story of a disabled boy in Mexico and his friend.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
