It’s Good Friday which is usually a day that we reserve for religious observations. This morning though I found out my cousin’s son was killed in a motorcycle accident yesterday. This particular cousin I don’t talk with often but am still fairly close to. Not as close as my brother is. I’m closer with this cousin’s sister but still it is hard to imagine that what he is feeling right now.
Things can change in the blink of an eye and this Easter weekend I think we need to remember that. I know that I am going to be extra grateful for the people in my life.
This made me smile this week.
This little girl is just so sassy. She always has a comeback ready. She made me laugh out loud this week.
I always love watching her videos. There is something so relaxing about watching her cook. I haven’t tried any of her recipes yet but I am certainly planning on a couple.
I don’t know if y’all have watched The Chosen yet but I began it recently. I love that they show the human side of Jesus. It makes him feel more real to me.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

Elizabeth says
My week was hectic, but I was so happy my high school friend visited from Germany! (I think I must have had a typo in my email address in my response yesterday and in the one I posted on the band t-shirt post yesterday, judging from the Rafflecopter and the comment moderation, uh-oh. I’m sorry I messed up, the t-shirt one was pretty long and I can’t fix them. I did still post as Elizabeth, if that helps.)
