The first full week of March is coming to an end and for me I am so glad. This week has been more than a little trying. I don’t know if it’s that time of the year or maybe some winter blues or what but the seniors in my house have been salty.
They can’t get along with each other, they snipe at me daily, and I can’t seem to do anything right. Last night I was informed that I didn’t buy enough groceries. I spent almost $900 on groceries on the first. Well, there wasn’t enough meat. Meat is expensive! I spent $300 just in meat. Let’s face it I’m buying the same amount I was a few years ago. It’s just the way it is. I buy ground chuck instead of regular hamburger meat. So it’s a little more expensive but there is far less grease. I got four family size packs to be divided up for $16 each which is a deal.
I don’t know but that is just one of the conversations we have had this week. They are stressing me out. Maybe when we get a little more sunshine and they can get out of the house more they will calm down a bit.
This made me smile this week.
Scrolling around Instagram this week I saw so much, most of which is the same old stuff truthfully. I love watching food being cooked or prepared in different ways. When I saw this pie crust I was so intrigued. I struggle with getting mine to look pretty. I need this tool asap!
This dress is stunning! My first thought was how heavy is that? I mean can you imagine having to wear that for hours? Even try to walk in it? I bet it weighs at least twenty pounds.
Okay, this was funny. That little girl did that perfectly. I saw it late one night and just laughed so hard I woke up the house. It just hit me the right way I guess.
A Few Words from Readers
Audrey Stewart on 2 Eat, Pray, Love Quotes that Changed My Life: I loved this movie. I don’t know if you watch any of Housewives on BravoTV, anytime a husband or boyfriend talk poorly about a woman’s appearance, they are called out for that and be called childish for trashing a woman’s looks. Then social media and all the blogs tell him a thing or two. This scenario played out in Legally Blonde also.
Bea LaRocca on Eco-Friendly Bathroom Upgrades: Sustainable Solutions for a Modern Space: What a lovely bathroom! Unfortunately our bathroom is tiny so there isn’t much that we can do with it but I’ll pass these suggestions along to my family and friends who have more bathroom space to work with. Thank you for sharing.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

I’ve been busy helping my older son run some errands. He’s 20 but still needs a lot of help and guidance to run his life. I’m looking forward to the day when he can do everything himself.

I was snowed in all week and just tried to keep the house warm lots of wood hauling. We even lost the power so it was not a good week for me.

It’s always something. I had skin contact with something I’m allergic to, perhaps a cleaner of some sort. Went to see my doctor and was given some cream. The only thing that really works is a steroid.
