Friday Fantasy-Ireland

Apr 18, 2014 | Rita

Ireland

Over at Crossroads Media Hub we have a new weekly series called Friday Fantasy where we share the places we would like to go and what we would like to do if we went there. This week I have choose Ireland. Here are a few things that I would do there:

  • Visit an old church
  • Cruise the River Shannon
  • See the Burren
  • See Newgrange
  • Do a Pub Crawl (it’s Ireland for goodness sake!)
  • Visit Connemara
  • Check out the Ring of Kerry

There is so much to do in Ireland that I have heard the best way to discover it is to simply drive around and get lost. Don’t that just sound amazing? Get lost in a place you have never been and discover all of it’s hidden secrets. I have heard that Ireland is one of the most beautiful places on Earth and that some people believe it could of very well been Eden. I don’t know if any of that is true or not but I know that it is on my list of Top 10 places to see before I die.

What place would you like to travel to? What would you like to do there? Check out all the places our bloggers would like to to travel to at Fantasy Friday.  Bloggers link up there as well!

Oh, I’m with you. I would love to see Ireland. I heard the driving there is treacherous though, very narrow roads in some cases with high walls. I would love to kiss the blarney stone but I’m not so sure I want to be hung upside down to do it!

I would love to see Ireland too, but my first choice would be China. My whole family wants to go there. We won’t attempt it until the kids are older though.

I’ve always wanted to visit Barcelona where my father is from. The architecture is amazing.

I have been to Ireland and it is Amazing! It is more beautiful then all the pictures make it look. Next on my list is to go to Greece. I want to go to Santorini, visit the ruins, walk the streets and take in the sights.

Getting lost in Ireland sounds fantastic to me. I have never been to Ireland but I would love to go one day.

My only visit to Ireland was a layover at the airport. Didn’t get to see any of the country. I want to kiss the Blarney Stone.

I would love to visit Italy. We’ve been to Milan, but I want to go somewhere like Tuscany where you can truly submerge into the culture. The vineyards look gorgeous. I hope you make it to Ireland some day!

Ireland looks beautiful and would be fun to visit. I would love to go to Hawaii just because its beautiful and warm, plus it’s not too far to travel.

I would love to visit Ireland too. The farthest I have ever been was to visit the Grand Canyon in Arizona.

I know why you picked it, Ireland is amazing. So beautiful and filled with things to do and see. Its honestly one of my top picks. My top two? Uganda and Japan… lol yep. Completely different but that’s what the world is filled with and I want to see it all 🙂 Hope you get to see Ireland one day.

A former co-worker just came back from Ireland and she’s Irish, too, and has family there, so it was extra special for her. Bu the photos she shared, oh wow, it is soooo pretty! I would love to see Ireland, and Scotland, too! A budding photographer could get some good experience taking pictures there.
