As you all know I love taking pictures! I have been working very hard at getting better at that hobby as well. I recently saw a Fujifilm INSTAX Mini 8 and thought that it would be perfect as a feature here and also great for those moments when you want an instant picture like at a wedding.

I was right! First the camera itself is so super cute! I received it in blue but there a few other color choices to choose from. It works just like the instant cameras of old! The biggest difference is that the pictures come out much smaller, wallet size actually which makes them all the more perfect.

I said before that these would be perfect for weddings and I mean it. You could give guests a few of these along with some film and have your entire day captured at the drop of a hat. They are the perfect size and I had a blast using this when the family was here but I also have some big plans for it later.

  1. We have looked at these and really want one. It would be great for when you have family over and just want to take some pictures for fun. It reminds me of the old Polaroid camera we had years ago. I told my husband that it would make a great Christmas gift for me. LOL Hope he remembers.

  2. Looks so cute, like a toy camera. Wonder if the film is expensive? I remember how my grandma took pics of us with her Polaroid. I still use cameras like this and not my phone so will check it out. Maybe we’ll see some good Black Friday prices on these.

    • The film is not that expensive. Anywhere form about $8 and up. You can get it where the paper is colored instead of the basic white as well.

  3. I agree that this would be wonderful for a wedding or even a kids birthday party! I didn’t know that they still made these kinds of cameras! I remember having an instant camera many years ago. Super cute camera and I love the size of the pics it makes!
