Fun for Father's Day with Rollors

My father used to play games with us all the time. Especially ones that took us outside. Now that he is gone we all try to keep his memory alive by doing those things with our own children. Rollors is great new game that has us having a blast out there.

I really love that the pieces are all wooden which means they will stand up to play. The game itself is easy, a lot like horseshoes or bocce. You can play with teams or one on one. I should tell you that you really need a flat area to play. You simply take the oversized wooden disk (Rollors) androll them towards a color coded goal 25 feet away. My backyard has some rocks here and there which made for an interesting game.

Scoring Rollors
They are cheating in scoring! He kicked it closer because it was near the tree!

We have played a couple of times and can’t wait for our family summer and winter gathering so everyone can play. We are very competitive and this is a great game to exercise that. Since the pieces are wooden don’t let the kids throw them as they hurt. Also there is a measuring cord to help with scoring but don’t let your brother get the tape measure to prove his right and your wrong.

Rollors is ASTM toy safety tested and approved, has a convenient carrying and storage bag, large wooden pieces as I said, and is for ages 4 yrs. and up. Each set includes 2 Goals, 3 Red Disks, 3 Blue Disks, 1 Measurement Cord, 1 Carry/Storage Bag and Instructions. They have also won numerous Awards:

  •  2010 Dr. Toy “Top 10 Active Games” Award
  •  2010 Creative Child “Seal Of Excellence” Award
  •  2011 Major Fun Award (www.majorfun.com)
  •  2011 Mr. Dad Approved
  •  2012 Dad Does Approved
  •  2013 NAPPA Award
  •  2013 Product of the Year Award from Family Review Center
  •  2013 Toy Tips and Trust (TTT) Award (Toytips.com)
