Summer is in full swing and my family loves to spend time out in the sun doing all sorts of things. One of the great things about the summer is that my nieces and nephews also come more to visit so there is always a lot going on. When spend plenty of time outdoors and in the water.

One thing that is important is having the right first aid and preventive items so while we are swimming, boating, and playing we stay as healthy as we can. After all the fun would be stopped short if one of us got sunburned. I keep a first aid kit in my car at all times and it full of all sorts of items. Not just the standard band-aids and such. It have wipes, a sewing kit, and more in there.

The reason is that I carry all of that are in the above pictures. My nieces, nephews and kids all have different needs and I want to be ready for anything, anytime, anywhere. My nephew once said “Look in the magic box because you know you have it in there.” when he was looking for something. Of course it never hurts to have a few sympathy strips (band-aids) as my father used to call them when we are out at the beach. Put one on, give it a little kiss, and the tears stop right away.

  1. I love the picture of the sand angels. Super cute. We use the Neutrogena sunscreen and it is amazin! My daughter burns really easily and this works for her. We love it!

  2. We had always packed first aid and emergency stuff in our car but have slacked off. We have kids in sports and need the fix it kit for that, but have slacked a lot on the other things. Bug bite spray, sunscreen and after sun care, and also the regular things like an eye rinse kit, tweezers, etc. With grandkids now it is important to keep this all at hand. Thanks for the info for the coupons and deals.

  3. I love Johnson and Johnson products we always have several of their products around our home. We have not been to the beach yet this summer.

  4. We use quite a few of these products in our home. The Neosporin the most. My kids ask for it every time they get a little cut. My favorite is the splenda. Love it in baking.
