I having been telling you FutureFood2050 which is a multi-year program that highlights the people and stories leading the efforts for a healthier, safer and better nourished planet that’s needed to feed 9 billion+ people by 2050. They have interviews which are very interesting with leaders in food and science and next year they are coming out with a documentary film.
A few of the articles I have been reading this week have included one about Auqaculture (you read that right) helping to boost fish supplies in Africa. It has been such a success in Egypt that fish is now the cheapest form of protein available there which is great if you ask me. I mean anything that helps get food to people without costing an arm and a leg is great in my book. There is another article about sustainable seafood dives and I am the first to admit I didn’t really know much about this at all. There is information about food and food development that I actually really didn’t know anything about. I now am learning things and making better informed choices about the foods that my family and I eat. I cannot begin to tell you how much FutureFood2050 has helped me look at food differently.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
