General Mills Helps You Save at the Commissary

Jan 16, 2013 | Rita

General Mills Text and Save

Growing up in a military family I spent a lot of time in and around the bases. Some of my fondest memories are going with my grandmother out to the commissary grocery shopping when I would visit during the summer. It was always a different place than the other grocery store we went to in town. The prices were lower and there was always someone there to help take out your groceries. Now that I am an adult, I  shop at the same commissary that my grandmother shopped at. The experience is still very different from going to a regular grocery store.

To be honest I can save more money when at go out to Ft. Benning and do my shopping at the commissary. So I make monthly trips and plan my meals around all of the wonderful deals. There is still someone always there to take my groceries out and I can actually get a lot done in one little trip. General Mills has a program just for military families only called Military Region Coupons and Offers.  This program allows you to get the on-shelf coupons before you get to the commissary so you don’t have to worry about them running out.
