Growing up in a military family I spent a lot of time in and around the bases. Some of my fondest memories are going with my grandmother out to the commissary grocery shopping when I would visit during the summer. It was always a different place than the other grocery store we went to in town. The prices were lower and there was always someone there to help take out your groceries. Now that I am an adult, I  shop at the same commissary that my grandmother shopped at. The experience is still very different from going to a regular grocery store.

To be honest I can save more money when at go out to Ft. Benning and do my shopping at the commissary. So I make monthly trips and plan my meals around all of the wonderful deals. You will then start receiving exclusive General Mills commissary only coupons in your email.
