I have a prepaid card that I use often because I like to know that I can save a little money on there. It is the card I give to my mom or even the kids because they can’t spend more than what is allowed. Card.com recently offered me a personalized card and I jumped at it because I really wanted another card that I could use a sort of savings card. You know have the money available when I need it but not really use unless it is urgent.
There were so many cards to choose from but in the in I chose the Mexico card, I mean how could I not? There are a lot I things I like about my Mexico Visa card. One I can use it with my Paypal and as work from home blogger and assistant that is how I am often paid. I also love that with a simple glance in my wallet I know what card I am going to use. Two is that it is a Visa debit card which means I can use it anywhere Visa is accepted and can use it at the ATM if I need cash. That is great considering I will be traveling soon. The one thing I don’t like is the monthly maintenance fee of $5.95. It is waived if I deposit $800 the month before but I really wish they didn’t have it.
There is no credit check and you can’t over spend with it because you can’t spend what is not there. Like I said you can link it to your PayPal but you can also load it using direct deposit, Western Union, your bank, and MoneyPak. If you have a teen this is the perfect card to help them learn about money and the responsibility of owing a credit card. It is also perfect for college students as you don’t have to send money you can just add it to their card.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

This would actually be great for a college student. You could add money to their account as you needed to for books and other expenses. Plus I love that you can customize it how you want it.
