Get Your Journal on With Soothi

Aug 01, 2019 | Rita

I don’t know about y’all but I love to journal. I will write a journal for my day, my thoughts and feelings, ideas, you name it. I bet I have a stack of journals just waiting to get used. That is why I was so thrilled to partner with Soothi. If you haven’t heard of them let me tell you their journals are simply beautiful.

Soothi makes journals that are “the starting point of discovery”. I love that quote from them! It is so true. These journals look like something you may have imagined Dr. Livingston or Lewis and Clark carrying to records their journeys.

I received the I Can & I Will Handmade Journal and could not be happier. It is of course, made of leather. It is 5″ wide x 7″ long x 1″ deep. That means it is big enough to slip down into your bag and carry it with you easily. I can tuck this down inside my purse or diaper bag (even my gym bag) and have it with me whenever I need it.

There are 100 pages of white color handmade cotton paper with sublet specks of fiber. This paper is reminds me of the paper you would see on a scroll or an old book. Just to let let you know I only use a ball point pen on these pages. I’m not sure but I think a marker, sharpie, or even gel pen would bleed through the pages.

I love the side stitching. The longer string wraps around the journal to keep it secured. I like that, it makes it easy to tuck things inside like a flower or a picture if I need to. Then when I want to attach it later I can do that as well.

The back of the cover has all of these constellations on the back side. It really adds something to the journal. It makes it so much more special. Like I said I am loving everything about this journal.

FINAL THOUGHTS

This was such a beautiful journal. I am enjoying and keep it in my bag with me all the time. It is one of those that you know you are going write in and treasure for years to come. At least, you know you’re going to save it so I am using to write the special stuff in. Memories that I want to be able to pass down to my children later. Memories of my father that their children will never get to know unless I record them in some way.

DISCLOSURE:Thank you Soothi for providing me a journal for my review. Please remember that all thoughts are 100% my own.

That journal is beautiful. I, too, enjoy journaling.
