  2. We just had our first anniversary last year. These are great ideas. I always love a gift that can be cherished and know that it was picked out with love. The cost doesn’t matter to me. For example, my husband made something handmade with wood a few times as gifts in the past, and I always look at them in my home and think of him with love.

  7. My 5 year anniversary is coming up soon. We usually do something small like go to dinner or something. One year we stayed at a casino over night.. but since it was in town my BIL and SIL came up for the night so it wasn’t so fun for me to have everyone there. I’d rather just be with my hubby and have a nice dinner, even with the kids there.
