I will be the first one to admit that I am not a big fans of apps. I use very few of them and only review ones that I honestly feel are worth while. I don’t want to clog up my phone or my readers phones for that matter. I was asked to review an app recently that I found not only useful but it has become (in the last few days) a part of my everyday phone usage. The Goinbee App is a pretty cool and easy to use app.
The Goinbee app for iPhone lets you take Addressgate’s Neighborhood Buzz feature with you no matter where you go. Goinbee makes it easy to share cool stuff on the spot as you move about your neighborhood and beyond.
First let me say that the Goinbee App is free to download in the iTunes store which makes me love it even more. Goinbee uses your GPS on your phone to find news, events, deals, and more based on your location. It allows you to post updates to Facebook and Twitter to share photos and so much more. It is like my new Social Media Dashboard for my phone but it is much lighter (in that it doesn’t require a lot of know how or use up a bunch of space) and does more which in my line of work is a must.
As you can see from the screen shot this app has a little of everything but honestly it only really has what you need. If you are looking for a local deal then you can find it easily. You can also stay on top of local news which is great when, if you are like me, you don’t have time to sit and watch the news. When you add the social media aspect in this is an app I would have gladly paid for.
I found some great events going on in my town that I didn’t even know about and that I cannot wait to attend. The BBQ sounds right up my alley! I even found some good deals nearby that i will be checking out as well. Like I said this is an app that I am thrilled to endorse and hope that you will all go and check out.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

Like you I am not a huge App person. This sounds like one I would actually use. I really like how it shows you all the local deals. That would be great. Thanks for the review.
