Well our extended vacation is finally over and we are currently making the drive home. I am both excited and sad to be going home. Excited because I get sleep in my own bed and be around my own things but sad because we had such fun. We truly got to have an adventure and I am thrilled about that.
One of the things I hate is when we get home we have a ton of stuff to unpack and do around the house. The good news is that the hues hasn’t been closed up the whole time, Ma has been there. I need some little elves to be there to unpack and put everything away for me. Of course I will be doing most of it on my own and will take a few days to get it handled.

It’s always kind of sad to end a vacation! And I think it seems to take twice as long to unpack as it did to pack. We are leaving on a cruise next month and starting to think about organizing the clothes, etc.

I always hated ending a vacation. It always ment the kids were going back to school and I was headed back to work. Now I’m on vacation everyday. Retired.
Unpacking is my least favorite thing about traveling!! and then its all the laundry. its worth it but i can’t guarantee Ill have it all done in the few days after i get home lol.
A vacation is always bittersweet. Packing and unpacking are really the hardest thing about when I travel. I hope you had a great vacation!
