I love the salvation army and goodwill they have such good deals on clothes. I plan on going there and searching for an ugly Christmas sweater for a party im hosting!

My husband and I were just talking about how fun it would be to have a holiday sweater party! My mom was a Christmas sweater/sweatshirt enthusiast. I could probably outfit half my friend list from her supply.

This is great! We have some friends that throw Christmas sweater parties. Little did we know that those hideous sweaters we wore as children would eventually become a cultural trend decades later? The worst sweater I had was a sweatshirt with puffy paint in the form of a snowman. I couldn’t hide the fact that I didn’t like it when the person who made it gave it to me as a gift.

My 14 year old wants to do an “ugly holiday sweater theme party”. I had to remind her that goodwill and the like have REALLY good things to buy, and saving money feels really good when you can get ten outfits for the price of one new one. NO one would know.

What fun! Never heard of this before but am having some of my family over for a “Carols and Cookies” night and this would be a great thing to do. Could also have a contest related to it too.

What a fun idea! Who knew that when I was forced to wear ugly Christmas sweaters as a child, I’d grow up and wish I still had them for events like this!

I love how ugly sweater parties are all the rage. I have been to a couple and get a kick out of what people come up with. Goodwill is a great place to get supplies for your sweater. We also go there for our Halloween costumes. I didn’t know about the Donation Impact Calculator. That’s great!
