About the Book:
Logan Bigelow’s legacy was designed to survive well beyond his years, a testament to the man’s charitable work and his good intentions. But when Bigelow dies in a plane crash, it sets off a search for a missing heir that spins into web of fraud, murder, and misdirection. Among those getting tangled up are a lawyer just trying to do his job, a dope-smoking golf pro hoping to cash in, a federal agent with an old score to settle, and a con man who steals your identity the old-fashioned way—he kills you for it.
It’s up to the lawyer, Benjamin Holt, to make things right. Logan Bigelow was Holt’s only client and one true friend, and now Holt is going to see that Logan’s last wishes are honored. Ranging from the upscale law offices of Newport Beach to the New Age vistas of Sedona, Arizona, Holt embarks on a twisted journey that will test his core beliefs. He’ll have to ask himself, What’s more important, ethics or justice? Holt is about to find out that the former doesn’t necessarily ensure the latter.
My Thoughts:
Money brings out all sorts of shifty characters in Gravedigger’s Moon including a weed smoking golf pro, a horse owner with a shady past, and a federal marshal with a personal agenda. The murder cover-ups are clever, the settings a rich mix of southern California and Arizona, and the narrative fast-paced. This was one of those “I can’t put it down until I’m finished” books which are the best kind ever!
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
