I love things that are fun and educational. Green Kid Crafts Discovery Box has both if those requirements. There are great crafts or the kids and educational aspect for me. Green Kid Crafts was founded in 2010 by a working mom (Penny) who saw the need for tools to help make the most out of the limited time many parents have with their kids. It continues to be completely mom-run, green and committed to helping families play together while still learning about the great outdoors (using natural and sustainable materials.)
We recently received a box to review and the theme was all about the weather. I love this theme as I love teaching the weather. There were several crafts but our favorite was the wind sock. It was very easy to do. When we got done the kids decided there wasn’t enough ribbons and requested I but more. Which I swear is on the huge grocery list I have.
For me the best part was the fun of watching them be amazed by the science behind all the weather. They love my tornado in a jar but now with Green Kid Crafts Discovery Box they can create all sorts of things all on their own.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

I love reading all the variations on this discovery box theme. One I liked in particular was holiday themes so kids could learn the real meaning behind why we celebrate certain holidays.

The Weather themed box would have been a huge hit in our house. They have some great themes for the different boxes. I really like the Dinosaur and Food Adventures. Those sound like fun.
