The weather has all of us layering up at the moment. At least I know that our weather has me layering up. I cannot tell you how many days it has been cold here but I can’t remember warm weather now. The one thing I hate is that I can’t wear some of my sleeveless and V-neck shirts because it is too cold. Halftee though has me covered there.
About eight years ago I had just given birth to our third baby ( we now have 7! ) As I was trying to nurse him and fighting with not one shirt but two ( layers of course!) I asked myself, grumpily “why can’t someone come up with a half shirt that still provides all the modest coverage I need in the neckline and sleeve but ditch all the bulky length?” It wasn’t until after my fifth child that I realized I was the “someone” and decided I needed to take action and design my own undershirt. Thus Halftee Layering Fashions was born – a layering piece that is “all style-no hassle” ~Amanada Halftee Founder
Halftee sent me the Basic Halftee in black (there are other colors available) and I like it. As you can see it doesn’t come all the way down the way a full tee would so I don’t have the bulk of wearing two shirts. I can easily wear it under a cami and have sleeves for when I need them. After all I don’t want to look like a crazy person while I am out and about wearing a cami when it is 40 degrees.
I can also slip it under a v-neck or low-cut shirt to provide me with the coverage I need for meetings and more. It would also work under dresses and sweater. I can actually think of a lot of different ways to wear this shirt.
Halftee comes is several different sizes and colors and truly is the perfect layering piece. There are even full length tees, maternity, and halftees for little girls.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

I like the Halftee shirt because it can be worn very comfortable and it looks nice under this dress you are wearing. I would wear this for coverage under my summer shirts. Nice top!

I love this!! I am the queen of layers. I usually have on 2 shirts, a sweatshirt and a jacket. This would be great for under sweaters also.

I’d love this to wear with deep v necks. My problem is that I am too small on top and things slouch and pull away, so a fitted version of this is what would work perfect for me! I dont like the bulky layers down around my middle so it’s a nice change.

Now this would work well with alot of dresses and shirts that seem to show too much. I dont like to show alot of skin because of my age and this would be nice to keep covered up. I also like that this layering could extend summer like clothes into fall.

This would be great to wear under my PJs. I hate that jiggly feeling (if you know what I mean) even around the house. This would be more comfy than the athletic type bra that I use now.

This is an interesting concept that I had not seen before. I like the amount of coverage which can be a problem for me.

Oh my gosh. I just commented on this layered look and how I like it and am going to “borrow” the idea. Then I came here and see this. This is even better….because if I’m wearing a dress like the one I am wanting it for, it’ll be in warm climates. Off to go check into it. Thanks, Rita.
