Did you know that you are not suppose to put a blanket in the crib with your baby? A lot of parents don’t know that. The reason is a fairly simple one: SIDS! So how in the world are you going to keep baby warm? That is where HALO SleepSack comes in. It is a blanket with a zipper and arm holes for baby.

HALO Icon SleepSack

HALO sent me one of the Icon SleepSack that are now available at Pottery Barn and I LOVE it! As you can see it gets used a lot that is why it is so wrinkled! I can put the baby in there, zip it up and not have to worry about whether he is too chilly. Also I love that his arms can be free that way he would pull them out of a swaddle and then start to cry because he has come undone.

Now I got a neutral color so that both the twins can use this whenever and it can be handed down if need be. It comes in three color choices of yellow, pink, or blue (shown in top picture) and the little giraffe is too cute! You can also have it personalized with bay’s name so that it becomes a unique shower gift perfect for anyone!

  1. These are so cute and I like the designs of these Halo sleepsacks. My nephew would look so cute in these. He could have his name put on it. I think that my sister would love to get these.

  2. I looove sleep sacks! They have been my saving grace for a while for naps since we are not supposed to use blankets. I have just started using a blanket, but it doesn’t stay on her (more like under her) anyway.

  3. I have been thinking about getting on of these for my little one due in December. I didn’t have one for my first because we used swaddlers, but they seem so convenient.

  5. These are so cute! I wish I had these when my kids were little. I saw one on a friends baby and loved them. I think this would make an amazing gift for a baby shower. Plus I love Pottery Barn’s stuff.
