HALO SwaddleChange {Giveaway}

Dec 15, 2012 | Rita

Halo Swaddle Change

I am sure that most of you have heard of the brand HALO before.  When it comes to baby items HALO really knows what they are doing. Their SleepSack is one of the best products (in my opinion) around and mother’s everywhere love it. Well I got the chance to review a different product that is just as wonderful.

The HALO SwaddleChange is something different in that it helps you when you are changing baby. What you do is put it over your changing table pad and then when you get ready to change baby you simply wrap them in the warm cuddly fabric. It keeps them safe and happy while keeping those little hands out of your way while you get those little diapers changed. As someone who has been on the receiving end of those little hands getting the way I can tell you that anything that helps get this job done quickly and quietly then I am all for it. The SwaddleChange comes in Cream, Sage, Pink and Blue velboa fabric, the Swaddle Change fits most contoured changing pads (17” x 32” to 17” x 34”). The cover should always be used with the changing pad’s attached safety belt.

The HALO SwaddleChange feels really great and to be honest part of me wishes I could wrap myself up in it. It just looks so very cozy and warm. I have had the twins fall asleep a couple of times while I was changing their diapers but I haven’t been able to get pictures of it yet. They look so cute and peaceful but the second the camera comes out suddenly it’s time to wake up and start screaming.

I will keep trying on the pictures though! Do you have a hard time when changing your little one?  What do you do to help soothe them while you change them? I think the HALO SwaddleChange could have some wonderful other uses as well. I think that it could be perfect for when baby is having a bad day and just screaming. A few minutes wrapped up and they fall right asleep.
SwaddleChange has been awarded the PTPA (Parent Tested Parent Approved) Seal of Approval and  is available now on amazon.com . It will become available at target.com, babiesrus.com and other national retailers as well. Want to try the HALO SwaddleChange for yourself? Well one lucky reader is goign to get the chance. All you have to do is enter below for your chance to win one. ENDS: December 31, 2012 at 11:59 pm EST

    “Swaddling babies the wrong way can cause serious hip problems. Swaddling is becoming more popular in the USA, and elsewhere. There is good evidence that this can be bad for babies’ hips unless it’s done correctly. It is important to leave the hips free to move and not tightly strapped with the legs straight out and together. Let the baby hold his or her hips bent up like they were when the baby was born and allow room for the legs to move freely.”
