As Thanksgiving is fast approaching I am reminded to be more than just a little thankful. My anniversary is also this month. I met my husband on Halloween and by Thanksgiving I knew he was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. He will of course say that he knew it the very first night but he’s crazy. Being married can at times be a challenge but I wouldn’t trade being married for the single life for nothing. I love being married to my husband although there are times when I just want to slap him.
Wifehood was not something I ever thought I was have to be honest. I was raised to think for myself and do for myself and I wasn’t looking for a man to tell me what to do and how to be. However the first time I looked into my husband’s eyes I fell head over heels in love with him. The kind that doesn’t come along often. I know that I have truly been blessed to have such a wonderful man in my life and I look forward to many more years of happiness and the occasional argument to come.
