Are you ready for Christmas and the New Year? I am and I’m not. I am thrilled that 2020 will finally be over but I feel like there is so much regret and hurt over this year. Not just for me but for the world as a whole. So this year telling you Happy Holidays comes with a heavy heart.
This year we will celebrating quietly at home. The kids, all except Sam who is still recovering from his hospital stay, are heading to their father’s so it will be just me and the senior citizens. Which is okay, I thought I would be much more bitter about the kids not being with me and I admit was hurt at first but in the end they need to spend time with him as well.
The time they get is so little most of the year, not because I say no, and I don’t want to be one of those bitter ex’s who argue and fight over every little thing. He asked so I asked them if that was what they wanted. They said yes so I will live with it.
When they return home we will have our little Christmas and everything will be right in my world. Although I will admit that I will worry until they are home but that is just how I am.
I hope that you all have a wonderful Christmas. I will be back here after the holiday to bring all of my end of the year specials and get you ready for the amazing 2021 that we have planned.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU IN WHATEVER WAY THAT YOU CELEBRATE IT. GOD BLESS.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
