I am back on the road again today heading for home. I don’t have to make any stops picking up the kids as they are staying with their father until the end of summer. That means it is going to be a straight four hour drive unless I have to stop.
Traffic could be an issue as well. If there is an accident or anything like that. I waited until after the fourth of July to make the trip home because I didn’t want to deal with holiday traffic. I figure once I get home and get the car unloaded I will have mail to answer, laundry to do, and huge amount of errands that will need to be ran. I also am certain I have several phone calls I will need to make. I did do my best to handle as much of this as I could while I was gone to make coming back easier.
I also have an appointment with my doctor in the morning to make sure I didn’t bring home any other visitors with me. I wanted to be sure since I was traveling out of state. Although I did only go to South Carolina and they have far fewer cases than Georgia does. At least they did when I left.
Reaching Out
If you reach out to me today it will tomorrow before I respond. Once I get there I will want to rest after being in the care for hours. It always seems to happen that way. So don’t stress out, I will get back with you as quickly as I can on tomorrow. I will scan through my emails quickly and respond to anything urgent that needs to be handled right away. I will right back to writing more articles and all of the other things tomorrow. If i don’t get lost in the mountain of mail waiting for me. 😉
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
