Did I stay up all night to get an amazing deal at Best Buy? Oh wait that was yesterday since I could start online then and I needed to get the turkey going. Okay maybe I have been up for two days straight because this is the first year in a really long time that I am actually going to go out and shop on Black Friday. Normally I avoid it like the plague because I had to work the mall when I was younger on this day and it was h*ll! It really was and if you are out today please be nice to those poor employees at the stores you are visiting.
The last time I was out I almost got run over by a police officer none the less and my aunt moved the car on me. Which by the way made me cry since I couldn’t find her in the big old parking lot. I thought she had left me which would not be unusual for her. I was simply running into the book store to buy one simple book and then right back out. I left my cellphone in the car so I couldn’t call. It was really bad and then to top it all off the restaurant we had planned on having breakfast at had gone out of business and I didn’t get to eat. There was a whole lot more going on but lets just leave it at it ruined shopping for me.
Today though my sister and I will be out shopping all day or at least until we run out of money! I plan on having almost all of my holiday shopping done today. So I hope you all enjoy the day and the weekend. I won’t be back until Monday!

I thought about going out, then changed my mind. People are flat out nuts today. There was no way I am getting up at 4am to wait until 6am to find out they are out of stock. I detest Black Friday. Lord help you all who go out. I lose my temper that early 🙂
Yeah it was really crazy but I can honestly say I got some good deals. Of course I didn’t stand in line to get $15 off a television because that is too crazy.
I hope your day was fruitful and that you were indeed able to get all your shopping done. You’re a braver soul than I am, for sure. I did some online shopping, though, and got my spouse a gift he’ll really like at a decent discount, as well as a good deal on some K-cups. Have a great weekend!
I did a little online shopping early on but I enjoyed just getting out and about a little bit. Especially after dinner, it really helped me. I didn’t get everything on my list because some items were out of stock but I didn’t go into having to have any one particular item.
We went out until about midnight on Thursday and then back out by five in the morning on Friday. We did breakfast about 9 and went home.
I beat you had so much fun Michelle! I love getting to go out and have breakfast. Honestly any time I get to go out and have food I am pretty happy.

I hear you. They were crazy and I think next year I will simply shop online and then go to the stores during the next week.
We did end up going out on Saturday, hubby needed a coat and Kohlss had the one he had wanted marked from 189 to 79. There was no way to pass it up. He wore it tody- he knew it was his gift. SSometimes I could kick him.
Don’t just hate when they do that? That was an awesome deal though! Ma is forever asking if I need her to wrap something, um no cause they are her gifts!

I did find some really great bargains. In fact I did manage to get a 32 inch television for $47 and I didn’t have to stand in line all day to get it.

I didn’t even think about Cyber Monday because so many of those deals came through so early this year. I am thrilled that you got a great deal on a new kindle though! I know my friend Lenore got a few of those and will be giving one away soon.

I can understand staying home. I wouldn’t blame you at all. I found some great deals and missed a few but that is how it is sometimes!
Now that’s a Black Friday story! I’ve done it several times – waiting outside Toys R Us or Best Buy at 5 am. Not any more!
