Hello Fall + October Camera Giveaway

Living in the South I know that fall doesn’t really arrive until around today. September can still be one of the hottest months we have. There were several days last month where we still hovered around a hundred degrees. While I enjoy the summer because of being able to swim and such Fall is my favorite time of the year.

Cooler Weather

One of the best things about October is the cooler weather. I can still wear a short sleeve shirt if I want. I’m able sit on the porch and drink my tea all while wrapped in a light sweater. The mornings when everyone is gone are perfect. Those mornings I can take a little bit of time for myself and just enjoy my tea. I like mornings like that mostly because they don’t happen that often. Of course, that isn’t the case just yet here in Georgia. It was hot as Hades out there this morning!

Changing Colors

That is another wonderful thing about fall. The colors all begin to change. The leaves on the trees have been changing for a couple of weeks now. I love the rich fall hues that take over everything. I took some time this morning to head out and take pictures of the leaves as they change. I will be sharing those with y’all soon.

Indulgences

I didn’t use to like the pumpkin spice flavor but I have found I like it more and more. I do wait until October before I begin enjoying it. It along with those cinnamon scents brooms are two indulgences that I enjoy during the fall. Okay I also really love candy corn. Again I wait until October before I buy a single bag. I can’t seem to help it and I have found that if I freeze it I am less likely to eat the entire bag in one sitting. I have to ration myself that little candy. If it cost more than a dollar I would be less inclined to buy it every time I walk into the store. That is what I am blaming it all on and not my lack of control.

I have been doing a camera giveaway although last month I didn’t. I thought I would include one again this month. I only have a few more before I need to figure something else out for next year.
