I told you about a great new web series that is in need of crowdfunding not too long ago Well you can help Newlywed and Broke become the web series they are hoping it will be. After serving four years, Kat Castaneda left the Marine’s as an E-3 Lance Corporal and now is in Hollywood, pursuing her dreams as an actress, writer, director and producer.
Newlywed and Broke is a web series billed as a modern day I Love Lucy. Newlywed and Broke will pull the curtain back on a couple dealing with today’s trying times of job loss and financial hardships… in hilarious ways! Each episode will expose laughter-inducing ways that the couple struggles to make and save money. The goal of Kat’s Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign is to produce a TV quality web series that will first air on the Newlywed and Broke website. Once there is an established market for the show, the series will be pitched to networks like ABC, FOX, HBO etc.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

Haha! Sounds like it would be a very funny show! Its very relatable in the aspect that usually as soon as you get married your instantly broke from having spent soo much on one day.

I’ve heard of this show and it sounds awesome! Love the idea of a reality web-series that actually deals with the real-life concerns of a married couple, with real problems. So sick of these phony “reality series” that are all about the rich and privileged. This show sounds refreshing, and I can’t wait to watch!

Sounds like a really interesting show to watch. Maybe some people can get help with just starting out as Newlyweds. I think it is a show that I would be interested in watching.

This sounds like an interesting show. I have to admit though I really don’t watch too much TV. It does sound funny though.

Okay I am an idiot and don’t really know what a web series is to start with. But they look as cute as can be. At first I thought this was a charity! LOL! But I will go to their website and see what all of the buzz is about!

This is a cute series. I love how more and more projects are getting made now a days by doing private funding instead of the big studios. I love that an actor or director believes in their project so much that they look for creative funding.
