Hitachi Touro Desk Pro

When you make your living working on a computer you learn at some point that you lose your information. So what do you do? You back everything up! There are several ways to do this and to be honest I have done the monthly back-up onto disks and it can be such a hassle keeping up with the disks. Hitachi Touro makes it easy to back up your computer files with their external drives.

I received the Touro Desk Pro to try out and I tell you that I was glad I got it. The day after I hooked it up and backed-up everything my laptop crashed. Talk about divine intervention!! I was able to retrieve all of my files,pictures, music, everything because I had it all stored on my Touro Desk Pro.  Here’s the description from the site:

Now I am just learning more about the cloud so I haven’t really tried using it much yet. What I do use is the daily backup feature. You can set a day, time, etc to automatically backup your computer which I set for the end of my work day each day. While I putting paper work, filing, etc my computer is being backed up. When I am finished, the computer is finished. All of my files are safe and secure. I really love that. I love knowing that when I need to find something it is there. My photos are all stored on my Touro Desk Pro as is a few other files such as my recipes.This allows my computer to run at top speed without having to put a disk in whenever I need a picture or to find one of my recipes. I love it! It is small, about the size of a book, and takes up very little space on my desk. Hitachi also has a mobile model which would be great for those on the go.
