Do you feed your pets holiday foods? If you are like me you most likely don’t. I was told once to never give pets human foods. Petcurean Premium Pet Food though wants to share with you a couple food facts about feeding foods to pets:
- Did you know that cranberries are great for pets because they’re high in antioxidants and a good source of Vitamins C & K? Petcurean NOW FRESH recipes contain a number of fresh and nutritious ingredients to keep your pets healthy and happy over the holidays.
- While our pets often hope to taste some turkey from the table, cooked bones should be avoided for pets because they can cause broken teeth, mouth or tongue injuries and bones getting stuck a dog’s wind pipe.
I did not know that about cranberries. I of course never give any sort of bones to Sassy. Petcurean sent me a couple of coupons so we could try out their dog food. We tried the NOW Fresh Grain Free Small Breed and it took her a couple of days but she finally gave in and tried it.
Sassy enjoys it but she is such a snob! She never wants to try anything new. I really like this food though because there are no by-products, rendered meats, or any of that other junk that is sometimes in other foods. It is all 0100% fresh!

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

We have been told to give our dog chicken and rice when he has a tummy ache. but I did not know about cranberries. Our dog loves melons. We do give our dog food but we limit what we give him to what our vet has approved.

I didn’t know about cranberries being so good for dogs. When We had a dog we gave it cottage cheese and rice when it was sick. Other then that we avoided any people food.

We give our dog occasional treats from the table, but never bones of course. Never knew about cranberries. I know she would probably love them as she has a little sweet tooth. We try to stick to dog food as much as possible.

I guess Sassy has a sassy personality. My dog can be picky too when it comes to food. We have given him too much people food.
