I don’t know about ya’ll but in our home we love games. The more games we have the more fun we get to have. When I was growing up games were a huge part of our family time. We used to have monthly subscription mystery boxes of games like hunt a killer. My father loved playing board games with us. It is something we continue to do with our own children. However, it is sometimes the games that adults can play that can even more fun. That is why I’m loving 5 Second Rule Spintensity!
5 Second Rule Spintensity is from PlayMonster and is a pretty simple game to play. You name 3 things within the allotted time. However the time doesn’t really have a set time. It goes off when it wants to. You name your three things quickly, then spin to find out what you have to do next such as: name more things, draw another card, or pass to the next player. The is the much more intense version of the original game.
You do need batteries and it best to have three or more people to play. It is designed for ages fourteen and up. I will say though the adults may end up enjoying this game far more than the kids ever will. Why you may ask?
Because I adults can get much more creative. So I would suggest setting some ground rules if the kids are in the room. I mean I played recently with my younger brother and some friends. Lets just say that Adventurous Activities can take on all sorts things that a sister doesn’t want to hear and may have to bleach her ears over.
I’m just saying! So if you have family or friends like that, set some rules first. Like keep it clean. All in all though we had a blast while we were playing and I enjoyed every single moment of it. That is why I can’t wait for Christmas!
This is a game that I plan on playing with my siblings over Christmas when we get together. We always play games as I said and I think this is going to be a great addition. Did I mention I am very competitive when it comes to games? Well I plan to win this one. At least I plan for my team to win since we sometimes play as teams.
