When traveling with a baby in tow in can mean carrying so much stuff. One of the biggest items is somewhere for them to play and sleep. Of course you also need some where to change them too. Don’t worry because Chicco has you covered and I am so glad they decided to work with us. I can’t begin to tell you how much they helped when everyone was here. Baby James had a place to sleep that was all his. I would say he had a place to play but no one put him down the whole time unless he was sleeping.

They sent us the FastAsleep Full-Size Travel Playard to try out and it could not have been easier. One of my biggest issues with a lot of baby items is that they need to be put together. I have the hardest time with it. In fact, it once took me more than hour to figure out how to get a bouncer together. I’m not making that up either!
It came out of the box like the picture above. It took me just a few minutes to get it put together. It pretty much pops up right into place.
Once it is all popped up you just add the changer/napper and you are good to go. We put this in Ma’s bedroom so that it would be out of the way while everyone was here. It didn’t take up much room at all. Left plenty of space for Ma to move around.
The napper (up to 15 lbs) is great for baby. It folds up and naps into place. When you fold it back out all the way you get a changing table.
There is a section where you can change the baby’s diaper. I like that you can put extra diapers and other needs in the little organizer on the end.
There is a bag that carries the playard and mattress which makes traveling easier.
The travel bag for changer/napper is just as awesome. I love that it lists the name of what goes into which bag. It helps when you are rushing to get things together.
With as lightweight and easy to travel as this playard is it’s a must for any parent. If you have a new baby on your list I highly recommend Chicco. They will grow with your child and be one of your most trusted brands for years to come.
