How many of you are the cooks in your home? Spend a lot of time in the kitchen? I do and my poor feet let me know when I do. I usually can only stand there for a few minutes at a time and then I have to bring in a stool or sit down. If I don’t I won’t be able to walk the next day and I will limp all night. That is the wonderful side effect of arthritis and a steel ankle among other things. When I learned about GelPro Mats I knew I wanted to work with them to see if there mats could help me at all. I wasn’t hoping for much but maybe a little bit of relief.
I was lucky enough to get a GelPro Elite which is 50% thicker than GelPro Classic. It also has a with a ¾” thick Dual Comfort Core of their proprietary gel and energy-return foam. That all sounds technical to me and I suppose it is. All I know is that this mat feels like clouds beneath my feet.
The mat that I received is the Decorator Collection Organic in Morning Glory. It is just one of hundreds of different designs they have. It has wonderful morning glory print. The mat has a slip-resistant bottom which I am thankful for and a stain-resistant top surface.
The beveled sides mean I don’t knock it out of place as I walk around or trip over it. Trust me that happens with other rugs or mats all the time. I use it in my kitchen but this would be perfect anywhere that you are on your feet. In fact, when I was a cashiers (years and years) ago a mat like this would have been great under my feet.
FINAL THOUGHTS
My feet are so grateful for my mat. Not only does my kitchen look pretty but my feet feel so much better. I can stand there and cook or bake for more than a few minutes at a time and for that I am super thankful.

These for sure are great mats. I didnt even know they had an elite version. I also appreciate how long lasting they are.

I have one of these I bought a long time ago. It is just plain brown though. I love the designer series and the one I have is by the counter where I prepare food. I need by my sink too.
I need one of these as the main reason I don’t do a lot of cooking anymore is due to feet issues and difficulty being on my feet for any length of time. I love the look of these mats, as well.
My friend has one of these and I can say that it is so nice to stand on. I like all the different designs that they have.

These look so great. The arches of my feet always get cramped if I stand to long and with the holidays and lots of baking this would be so helpful.
