Ma needed new sheets and bath towels something terrible and I went in search of a company that would have things she would love. I came across Grund America and was thrilled when they agreed to work with me. While we were expecting to receive some bedding, sheets maybe, we certainly didn’t expect what we received.
Grund America offers 100% organic cotton bedding. If you haven’t ever had the pleasure of sleeping in 100% organic cotton then you are in for a treat. I will say that I didn’t want to give Ma the bedding after I felt how wonderful it was. The only reason I relented is because it was in her bed size and not mine. I would have taken that from her in a hot minute!
The Savannah Collection Sheet Set is beautiful in its simplicity. We received them in white although there are other colors available. I think white is the perfect color. It goes with any blanket or comforter set. I always have a hard time with pairing colors since I’m a little color blind.
After we started putting the sheets on I realized I should have ironed them but Ma said just get them on the bed. As you can see they are looking great! These babies are 300 thread count with a sateen weave. They feel like high-luxury sheets.
As you can see we got two pillowcases as well. They feel wonderful under your head.
The Sea Pines Collection Blanket is to die for y’all! It truly is! We got it in slate gray but ivory and driftwood are the other two color options. I admit that I wasn’t sure this was going onto Ma’s bed. I thought maybe my uncle would like it better but Ma said she needed it.
Doesn’t it look amazing? You have two size choices: 50″ x70″ or 66″ x 90″ so can be sure it will fit your bed. Of course, you could use it in the living room as a throw as well. It is heavy but not so much that it feels too heavy. If that makes any sense. I get hot easy so if something feels super heavy I won’t be able to use it.
We also got towels! There are several options for you and we got them in the same slate gray as the blanket. There is of course, a wash cloth hanging on that towel as well.
Just look at the weave on this towel! The edges haven’t frayed as of yet and we have washed them a bunch.
The hand towel was a little long for the rack in Ma’s bathroom but I just folded in half and it works beautifully. This entire set brought everything together and made her room look a bit more modern and sophisticated.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Ma could not be happier with all of the products she got. That in turn makes me super happy. She is not an easy person to please and the fact they did makes all the difference.
