If you have been with me for a while then you already know that Lugz is one of my favorite shoe companies. I always enjoy working with them and being able to do it during the holidays just adds to my joy. I knew I wanted to get Ma some boots for the winter but wasn’t sure which ones. Thankfully Lugz made this an easy decision for me.
If you haven’t heard of Lugz before, they began in October 1993 and have been making a name for themselves since. Having been “built for the streets” or in our case the super small town Lugz has been promoted by the like of Orange County Choppers.
They were kind enough to send me Empire Hi Water Resistant 6-inch boots for Ma. She hasn’t had a chance to wear them yet because I wrapped them up. However there is so much that I love about them. First and foremost they are water proof. I can’t tell you how important that is.
The rubber slip resistant sole will keep her safe. Which is good because we were walking one day and I kid y’all not just fell. She was there one minutes and the next she had fallen in a small hole that you couldn’t even see.
This boot is inspired by the classic boot. Ma is going to look stylish in them and I love them shoestrings. They are sturdy and don’t look as though they will break.
FINAL THOUGHTS
As always Lugz has gone above and beyond. They are a brand that prides themselves on being what the consumer needs. I have yet to get anything from them that I haven’t loved. I know my feet are taken care of whenever I get anything from Lugz.
