About the Movie: Ever since college-bound Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal) was a little monster, he dreamed of becoming a Scarer – and he knows better than anyone that the best Scarers come from Monsters University (MU). But during his first semester at MU, Mike’s plans are derailed when he crosses paths with hotshot, James P. Sullivan, “Sulley” (John Goodman), a natural-born Scarer. The pair’s out of control competitive spirit gets them both kicked out of the University’s elite Scare Program. With their dreams temporarily dashed, they realize they will have to work together, along with an odd bunch of misfit monsters, if they ever hope to make things right. Pull an all-nighter with hours of exclusive bonus extras, including an inside look at the world of monsters and the animated theatrical short film The Blue Umbrella. Monsters University opens the door to huge laughs on Disney Blu-ray.
My Thoughts: I LOVED Monsters Inc and couldn’t wait for Monsters University. This movie does not disappoint. It has the whole back story of Mike and Sully and there are some pretty funny moments. It was a movie that the kids watched three or four times over the weekend while I was sick and I must say I didn’t mind hearing each time. To hear their little laughs even though they aren’t really sure what they are laughing about sometimes!
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

Oh this movie is for sure on our Christmas list. We loved it when we saw it in the theater and both my kids can’t wait for us to get it. I am just hoping we can hold out until Christmas.

Well I never saw the first one but I’m sure I’ll be entertained with this. The clips I’ve seen look hilarious. I also enjoyed seeing some people dress up as Monster characters from the movie at Halloween.

I have no doubt that I am one of a handful of people on the planet that have not seen the Monsters in any of their movies. I need to at least rent them so I can understand what all the great buzz is about.

I really enjoyed the original movie. I have not yet seen this, but I’m looking forward to it. The concept is a cool idea. It’s almost like a Harry Potter film, but from a flashback perspective. Maybe I’ll wait until it’s out on redbox or netflix.
