We have a game from PlayMonster today that will be perfect for ages four and up. Orangutwang (say that three times fast) is a fun, loud, and really reminds me of King Louie game. It has to be the swinging that reminds me so much but there you go.
Orangutwang is really pretty simple as far as games go. However for little kids simple is always best. This game doesn’t require batteries and takes just a few seconds to get set up. When you have small children setting things up quickly can be the difference between happiness and a nuclear meltdown. This game ticks all the boxes for me. In fact the twins can set it up themselves which is something else I love. Some children could need a little help the first time.
Playing is pretty easy, you take turns hanging fruit and jungle friends on the orangutan. However, you have to watch out because he will end up holding too much which will cause him to suddenly spring up and everything goes flying. I make the kids play at the table so I am not looking for pieces all over the place. There really isn’t a winner or loser with the game truthfully. The point is to see how low you can get him to hang before he springs up. They laugh so much when he does that they attempt to put it all on in every time it is their turn.
This was a pretty fun game. I don’t think I will be playing it again with the kids just because they were super noisy with it. Although that is half the fun. It was all the “It’s my turn!” that drove me up a wall. Twins are awesome except when they aren’t. When one is special needs it makes them both a handful at times. I am thrilled they loved this game though and know I can pull it out and they will play for hours.

I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.
