Holiday Gift Guide: Pretzel Sensations

Now that it is getting down to the wire finding gifts and getting them shipped to you is going to much harder but I wanted to share with you this wonderful gift idea. It is called Pretzel Sensations and they are the grown up version of pretzels! That is the only way to describe these sweet treats. Pretzel Sensations was started when high school sweethearts, Mike and Rebecca,  reconnected 25 years after their graduation, fell in love, and then decided to not only start a life together but a new path together as well.

I received the Toffee Pretzel Sensations and I will tell you that I was a bit the Nervous Nelly about them. My only pretzel experience before had been the ones you get at the mall or those that come in a bag. I had never had gourmet pretzels in my life and wasn’t sure what to expect.  I should have expected to have my socks blown off! These are more than just good and they didn’t make it through the night at my house.

I really love that they are little balls almost like truffles, I don’t know if that was on purpose or not, but they are the perfect size. They are chocolate covered and hand rolled in toffee then covered with nuts. You really could not ask for a sweeter treat and as I said these somehow seem much more grown-up than all the others I have tried.
