Holiday Gift Guide: Social Good Network

Nov 26, 2012 | Rita

This holiday season why not shop and do a little good at the same time. The Social Good Network will help you do just that. Once you sign up (it is free to join) then you simply start shopping and support your favorite causes at the same time.

It does not cost you anything extra to shop at more than 275 major retailers such as The Gap and Amazon. When you shop you get credit for your eligible purchases then you can find a cause (or two) that you like and donate your funds from your points to help that cause.  I need to tell you that  Amazon purchases can’t be tracked by individual members and are deposited in the Community Pot, which is distributed among all nonprofit partners. What a great way to get all of your holiday gift shopping done and help worthy causes at the same time!

This is such a worthy way to do most of your holiday shopping because it allows you to spread the holiday cheer all around. Since the charities have all been checked out it allows to donate knowing that your money is going where it is suppose to be going. With charities like the Make A Wish Foundation you simply cannot go worng.

I actually use this already- one of the local cat rescues is involved with this and every penny helps!

What a great way to contribute to a charity all while shopping for your loved ones. I like the thought of giving back, and this is one easy way to do it!

I love that you can donate to a good cause while not really spending any extra!

Wonderful idea! Back when times were a little better I donated to several good causes. That has gotten harder for me to do. This is a good way to support great efforts.
