We could all use a little help when it comes to getting ready for the holidays. I know that I could use all the help I could get and thankful I got a little not too long ago thanks to P&G, Robert Verdi, and Katie Lee. P&G has so many products that can help you get ready for the holidays from cleaning products to beauty products. Did you know that on average Hispanics attend four parties or events during the winter holiday season? I have already attended four and Christmas hasn’t even got here yet. What is a girl to do? Be in the know and have her arsenal ready that’s what!
Robert Verdi is the style guru for the likes of Eva Longoria and Mariska Hargitay among many others and in a webinar not too long along he gave some of us bloggers some great tips for getting ourselves ready for all those holiday parties. Robert suggests that every woman develop at least one day to night look that will get you through the holiday season. He even answered my question of what was the 1 beauty item every woman needs: COVERGIRL Lash Blast! Robert also said that red is a universal color and looks great in photographs.
Katie Lee is a best-selling author and entertaining expert and like Robert she shared some holiday secrets. Katie said that products like Swiffer WetJet really help her get her cleaning done much faster. She also said that she fills a Guest basket with all the items that guests may have forgotten such as toothbrushes, razors, and more. Another great tip is that paper plates are okay for lunch but when you have your holiday dinner then you should use the good dishes. Sadly I did not do this over the weekend but in my defense there was 15 kids here and I did all the cooking and cleaning.
I received two wonder P&G products to help me get through the holidays and I must say that I was really surprised at how much they actually helped. First was Tide Pods and I must say that these really make laundry time easier considering I spent the weekend doing about 30 loads and they get out stains so well. All I had to do was drop them in the washer and walk away. There was no measuring, no waiting to add something extra, nothing! They also worked wonderfully in cold water washes.
The other item I received was the Tide To Go Pen and I wasn’t really sure I would need this over the weekend until gravy ended up on my pants…..3 times! Then there was the candy cane incident but thanks to Tide To Go all I had to do was rub it on and the stains disappeared without me having to leave the room and change a gazillion times. All in all P&G really helped make the weekend much smoother for me and I plan on using everything again for Christmas and New Year’s.
