Holiday Traditions with Hickory Farms

Nov 19, 2013 | Rita

hickory-farms

Did you know that For more than 60 years Hickory Farms gifts have been a classic holiday tradition that brings family and friends together? Like many American Hickory Farms has been a holiday tradition in my home for as long as I can remember. My dad loved them and every Christmas we set out to find the perfect gift basket for him. I will never forget the trip to the mall each year to visit the Hickory Farms kiosk and how much I loved helping my mom select my father’s gift. Then I would carry that huge bag out even though it was too big for me.

Now Hickory Farms is a tradition in my own home and while my mom tends to eat it all before anyone else can enjoy it I still love the trip to find the perfect basket each year. This year we were sent the perfect basket, Cheddar Flight with Salami, and I could not have been happier.

Just as  Hickory Farms is very proud to be a part of my nostalgic moments I am proud they are and that they continue to focus on and celebrate their long heritage of tradition and authentic holiday memories. The fact that they embrace passing down traditions through generations of families, but also creating new traditions and sharing them with loved ones makes me so proud to be a part of that tradition.

Purchase Hickory Farms

You can purchase Hickory Farms in one of their 700+ Holiday Market stores and kiosks across North America, as well as in select retailers. You can also purchase at Hickoryfarms.com.

Other than being able to sample it during the holidays at their counter, I have never been able to afford it. So we don’t have a tradition…yet!
