Ma needed new sheets something terrible. The problem is that Ma doesn’t seem to know what she wants when it comes to sheets. Thankfully we were about to get her sheets. In fact the offer for this review came through just when I had spent the entire day before going through website after website looking for her some.
We received the Honeymoon Microfiber Embroidered sheet set in coral which was only one of many colors to choose from. I decided on coral because I wanted Ma’s room to have a fresh, light look to it. I am still in the middle of getting things done but I think the sheets are a good place to start. I know they are to be honest. I ordered some window shade samples recently and we still haven’t made a final decision. One thing I to make a point of is that they are machine washable in cold with similar colors and tumble dry on low. That seems like a no brainer but I never used tumble on low until I messed up a sheet set once. Following the instructions for care is important. I thought it didn’t matter but it does. Honeymoon says that rregular use and laundering will only make the bedding more soft, supple and enduring.
You get a fitted sheet which was pretty easy to put on. Sometimes I have a hard time telling which way the sheet goes but this one was simple. Her room is pretty dark so it’s hard to get the perfect picture. You can’t really tell the how pretty the coral color is in this one.
You also get a flat sheet or a top sheet for y’all southerners yelling at the computer that it’s not called a flat sheet. Don’t worry I was calling it the top sheet in my head! This one has a pretty satin like ribbon along the top. This picture shows the true color of the sheet set. As you can see it is really pretty. In the next one they will look super orange.
See what I mean? It’s crazy! They look so orange but they aren’t, it’s just the pictures. You get 2 pillow cases with this set which is perfect since Ma has a full bed. These sheets are 100% polyester microfiber and feel so wonderful. The microfiber is brushed and are so soft, breathable, hypoallergenic, wrinkle free and, fade resistant.
As you can see they look great on her bed. Now I need to find the perfect comforter or spread for the bed to pull it all together. Her bed actually needs a headboard as well. That is something else we are working on. She said the first night she slept on these sheets that she slept better than she had in years. That is saying a lot since Ma normally doesn’t like change in her room.
