Rather, what matters is learning how to take a careful, measured, optimistic, encouraging approach to our own personalities and our own daily focuses, helping us become the people we really want to be and not people who fall into problems given by others. When you can do that, then you can more readily feel comfortable, confident, able, and willing in life. Be Kinder To Yourself
Be kinder to yourself if you can. It’s not easy to do this, because most of us are extremely adept at convincing ourselves just why we don’t deserve to be treated with love, especially not from ourselves. So, that’s fine. Perhaps you don’t need to convince yourself that you’re amazing. But you can treat yourself as if you were. Then, through every reinforced action, you’ll be solidifying that, even if that simply means stretching each morning, or doing your best to eat healthy alternatives and only cheating at the weekend.
Challenge Your Thinking
It’s good to challenge your thinking about yourself from time to time. For instance, some people might think that they can only ever be whole with surgery, and that shows there’s a need for you to accept yourself how you are. That said, perhaps you’re hoping to go to female cosmetic surgeons for a small procedure you’ve been thinking of for a while, but you somehow think that this taints you from being your most natural self (it doesn’t). We all have our unhealthy impressions that prevent us from giving ourselves our due. Don’t think you have to conform to that, it’s never healthy.
Sometimes, You Have To Big Your Biggest Cheerleader
Sometimes you just have to root for yourself, especially if no one else does, and actually, even if everybody else enthusiastically tries to. Why is this? Well, you’re the only one who can really put yourself to action. It can be healthy to just say ‘you know, I can do this!’ even if you wonder if you really can. Being a little less self-critical and deciding to push your boundaries can unveil a really amazing truth, that you are much better than you think you are, even in little ways. It’s hard to actualize that without cheering for yourself in the first instance.
