How Great is Your Dog?

I was never really a dog person, not to be mean in any way. I was more a cat gal because cats require  little attention (at least most of them do.) We had dogs when I was growing but they belonged to my siblings or my parents and not me. That was until Sassy came into our lives not so long ago. Sassy is a Jack Russel Terrier and to say she is Sassy is putting it mildly. Sassy was gotten for the kids but somehow I have been the one to take care of her (imagine that!)

Recently after a bath she does what all dogs do, they go outside and roll around trying to get the bath smell off them. Well usually that is fine but the problem is that she decided she need to roll around after a rainstorm and in a mud puddle. Sassy didn’t really roll around so much as she waited and stood looking at me as if to say “Aren’t you going to stop me?” It is that very attitude that makes her so great and makes me so glad that she is a part of our family.

Do you have a great dog? Every dog owner thinks there dog is the greatest and now Purina Pro Plan wants to know just how great your dog is. The “How Is Your Dog Great?” video contest is going on from now until August 27, 2012. All you have to do is simply upload a short film, under 2 minutes long, to the Pro Plan YouTube channel.

Your entries should be a good demonstration of your dog’s journey to greatness that would inspire others into finding their own pet’s greatness. The  grand prize-winning video will be featured in a Pro Plan commercial, which will be unveiled at the 2013 Westminster Dog Show, presented by Purina Pro Plan.The winner also receives a year’s supply of Pro Plan dog food for their pet!
