Have you ever wondered why someone blogs? What is the purpose behind all of that writing? I blog for a lot of different reasons such as to earn an extra income {not that I earn a lot} but the biggest reason I blog is because I found myself through blogging. I didn’t realize I was missing at the time but after a few months of blogging I heard my own voice again. After my dad died I left the corporate world for the work at home world so I could help my mom. I was writing book reviews and earning a good living. I met my husband and life changed again. I went from working full-time to working occasionally which meant less money. We were happy and could afford for me to not work full-time so I worked when I wanted to.
Two years ago I was asked to review a few books in exchange for the books only. I thought ” Reviewing again, Why not?” After all who was I to request payment when I hadn’t been a full-time professional reviewer for some time. I discovered that I still liked doing the reviewing. During a trip to my brother’s I was on the internet and came across Simply Stacie and really liked her blog and what she was doing. I thought I could do and that and share my book reviews with other readers. The book reviews lead to product reviews and here we are today.
I enjoy every moment of blogging, so much more than I ever thought I would. It has developed into a full-time job that I find fulfillment in. Through sharing reviews and my life with all of you I have discovered a passion and a joy that I would not of had otherwise. So THANK YOU all for taking the time to read my blog and be a part of my journey.
I live in a small Georgia town that you most likely have never heard of and I LOVE it! My house is more than full as I am a single mother of four & caregiver to my aging mother and uncle. Lover of all things Outlander. Goes to the beat of her own drum woman.

That is great. As long as you are doing what you love that is all that matter, plus that little income helps. Awesome. Good luck and continued success.

I know what you mean. I’ve always been a writer. Blogging brought that back….gave me a platform that was un-intimidating. Don’t make money off it (very little anyways) but I enjoy it.
