Ice Ice Baby Giveaway Hop

Once again Rita Reviews is one of the hosts of an amazing hop along with MamatheFox.I love taking part in these and being able to co-host one is a bonus for me. They always seem to bring together so many new readers and plenty of old friends. Since I have been so sick and working towards getting things caught up I thought I would once again keep this one pretty simple.

In the spirit of keeping things simple (and mostly because I am swamped with reviews to get done) I decided another gift card would be the prize of the day. The funny thing is I was working on securing prizes for a couple of different giveaways and this hop was on my list. I planned out prizes for all of the ones I have preplanned for this quarter and somehow missed this hop. It was lie I skipped over it altogether. It happens because life happens and there are some things just beyond our control.

The good news is that you all love gift cards so doing another one wasn’t that difficult. In fact, it was an easy decision. I went through my wish list recently and narrowed it down to a few things that I would be getting with a gift card that I received the other day. I love being able to purchase (or get) things for myself or the family without having to change or break the budget. That is important to me because this year I am attempting to save a particular amount. It seems like every year I say I am going to have a little more in my nest egg and it never happens. I am determined this year so any place I can cut corners I will.

Amazon is an awesome card to receive since you can use it for all sorts of things. I try to get things that we need but I will admit there is a nice list of things that I just want. Either way I know that I have a few gift cards coming my way. I use those for the family and to purchase some giveaways for the blog. How do you save money or cut corners?
