Idahoan Broccoli & Cheese Mashed Please

Dec 15, 2014 | Rita

Idahoan Logo

Disclosure:  I participated in this event on behalf of Wendy’s Bloggers for Idahoan Foods. I received Idahoan products to facilitate my review.

Okay, anytime I make mashed potatoes I make them from scratch. The reason is that I have never  had  luck with the instant ones and there really isn’t much flavor to them. At least that is what I thought before I tried Idahoan instant potatoes! I feel like a big dummy knowing that I never tried these out before. I have seen them in my grocery store a million times but always walk  past them.

Idahoan

I received all of these wonderful Idahoan Flavored Mashed potatoes  to try out and see how we would like them:

  • 4 pouches Idahoan Buttery Homestyle
  • 4 pouches Idahoan Four Cheese
  • 4 pouches Idahoan Loaded Baked
  • 4 pouches Idahoan Baby Reds
  • 4 pouches Idahoan Roasted Garlic
  • 1 deck custom Idahoan playing cards
  • 1 Idahoan branded premium soup bowl/cup

Broccoli & Cheese Mashed Please
I also spent some time checking out these wonderful recipes and  I actually made the Broccoli & Cheese Mashed Please. I must say that I really loved it, in fact my uncle ate some and he never, ever eats any broccoli.

Making Broccoli & Cheese Mashed Please
This was actually so super easy to make that I couldn’t believe it! The only thing that I really would change would be to add an extra pouch of potatoes next time and to be honest next time I think I may even add a little corn to it. You know just to mix it up a little bit!  Be sure to check out Idahoan Facebook to stay in loop on new flavors and much more.

I’ve never tried it, but the Senate Bean soup looks and sounds amazing. I’ll definitely be giving it a try one of these cold nights this winter
